The Carroll Alumni Soccer League has been providing a competitive and enjoyable summer soccer opportunity for soccer enthusiasts from all around the Philadelphia area since 1972. The fields are at Archbishop Carroll High School and Radnor Memorial Field on Matsonford Rd in Radnor, conveniently located near the Blue Route, Schuykill Expressway and the PA Turnpike. Matches are played on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from late May through early August. The schedule includes a 15 game regular season with 35 minute halves, playoffs, and championship game and family picnic.
There are six teams selected through a draft. Most participants have college playing experience or are currently playing in college. Ages range from 17 through 40 something, with the majority in their 20s and 30s. Players of all levels and experience are welcome. You don’t have to be a star or affiliated with a team or club to have a great time playing in CASL.
Very affordable and with a rich tradition of camaraderie both on and off the field, CASL is a great summer league that has stood the test of time.
